Rawhide Golf Ball Co. is a family-owned golf ball recycling operation based in Southern Indiana. Since 1975, we've recovered, refurbished, and resold reclaimed lake balls to golfers and golf facilities across the country. Our process takes balls rescued from course ponds and water hazards, cleans them through a four-day grading process, and returns them to play at a fraction of new-ball prices. Whether you call them recycled golf balls, refurbished golf balls, or lake balls — we've been making them play like new for 50 years.
We work directly with golf courses, pond-divers, and ball pickers across the country to source the highest quality used golf balls — then clean, sort, and grade every single one at our facility before it ships to you.
Our Quality Grading System
Every ball is cleaned, inspected, and graded at our Midwest facility before it ships.
Grade A — Like New
Imagine they took them out of the box brand new and immediately hit them in the trees. That's these balls. Basically untouched.
Grade B — Good Condition
Minor cosmetic scuffs or discoloration. Plays like new. Excellent value for regular rounds.
Grade C — Practice Ready
Visible wear, scuffs, or marks. Structurally sound. Great for range sessions or casual play.
